Global Tax Data (GTD) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Tax AI Production Function — a high-impact team responsible for the operational health of Tax's AI solution portfolio. You will take citizen-built AI tools from development environments into production with full operational safeguards and own them operationally.
Responsibilities
Review architectures with original builders, address AI-specific security requirements (threat modeling, prompt injection mitigations, data handling controls), refactor for scalability, create technical documentation, and build a reusable pattern library that accelerates every subsequent solution. Deploy AI solutions to production infrastructure, configure monitoring and alerting, establish incident response runbooks, and manage security patching. Onboard new consuming teams and provide operational health reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-intternship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
