Responsibilities

Indulge your love of diving deep into complex technical problems while building deep subject matter expertise in enabling Agentic based experiences for personas including builders; Work with teams of scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete system deliverables, driving incremental system optimizations and raising the bar for operational excellence and development practices; Build new 0->1 products from the ground up, driving the development of innovative approaches to future WorkSpaces where Agents and humans operate collaboratively; Partner with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q teams, and peer organizations to ensure the WorkSpaces agentic architecture leverages and contributes to shared AWS agentic infrastructure; Lead the design and implementation of the authorization, trust hierarchy, and governance framework that makes autonomous agent action safe in enterprise environments, including audit trails, rollback mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop controls; Help enhance the skills and expertise of those around you, elevating the team as you shape the next generation of Agentic WorkSpaces for Personas.

Qualifications

Minimum

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience; 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience; 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience; Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience; Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
