We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex software and systems programs for Amazon’s Autonomous Delivery Vehicle initiative. This role will support the development and scaling of the software, data infrastructure, operational tools, and delivery-system integrations required to test and operate autonomous vehicle fleets within Amazon’s last-mile delivery network.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of software capabilities supporting autonomous vehicle testing and operations; develop integrated roadmaps, define requirements and milestones, manage dependencies and risks, and drive execution across multiple engineering teams.
Drive programs supporting the transfer, ingestion, storage, processing, quality control, security, and access of data collected from vehicles; ensure data is reliable, traceable, and available to support software development, system validation, and fleet operations.
Deliver the software tools required to operate a multi-site vehicle fleet, including vehicle assignment, mission planning, fleet-health monitoring, configuration tracking, maintenance management, issue resolution, data-transfer monitoring, and operational reporting.
Drive the software integration required to operate autonomous vehicles within Amazon’s last-mile delivery network; work across internal engineering teams and external technology partners to define requirements, align technical interfaces, manage dependencies, and deliver end-to-end capabilities.
Partner across software, vehicle, hardware, safety, and operations teams to manage system interfaces, configurations, testing, issue resolution, and readiness for new vehicle fleets and operating locations.
Establish clear plans, ownership, metrics, and operating mechanisms across Amazon teams and external technology partners; navigate competing priorities, communicate progress and risks to senior leaders, and drive alignment on technical decisions and delivery commitments.
Qualifications
Minimum
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
