We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the engineering of the Adobe Unified Platform, focusing on integration layers, abstractions, and evaluation systems. You will design and build API clients, oversee model onboarding, and mentor engineers. Ideal candidates bring extensive software engineering experience and expertise in AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities
Design and build the integration layer to model providers and partner services.
Build API clients, routing, and fallback logic.
Keep the platform model-independent through clean abstractions.
Own the systems that evaluate model quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
Lead the engineering to onboard new models and partners.
Build instrumentation and dashboards that show how models behave in production.
Harden integrations against outages, latency spikes, and rate limits.
Mentor engineers and set the standards for integration work.
Qualifications
Minimum
10+ years of software engineering.
Complex backend or platform systems from design through production.
Strong hands-on skills in Python, Go, or Java.
Proficiency in AI-assisted development.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or AI/ML systems.
Ownership of full system designs and architectural decisions.
Experience integrating third-party or cloud services and designing for failure.
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
