Leading several active research projects:
- IOPP: Improve I/O performance by systematically understanding and optimizing large-scale workflows on supercomputers
- IMAI: Accelerate I/O of scientific AI applications using DL frameworks (LBANN, TensorFlow, PyTorch) on supercomputers
- FRACTALE: Multi-cluster scheduling with focus on the role of I/O intents in smart scheduling of hardware/software accelerators in HPC
Architected and developed multiple HPC storage platforms and software including Chronolog, LABIOS, Hermes, Hermes Container Library, Hierarchical Prefetching and Compression Software, Intelligent Compression framework, and DLIO Benchmark
