- Co-edited several books: 'Big Data in Psychological Research', 'Handbook of Well-Being', 'Handbook of Positive Psychology Assessment', 'The Oxford Handbook of the Positive Humanities', and 'Technology and Measurement around the Globe'.
Research Experience
- Currently the William C. Byham Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. Leads a research team consisting of graduate students Victoria Scotney (2019), Daphne Hou (2020), Fanyi Zhang (2021), and Gloria Liou (2023). Active collaborators include Munmun De Choudhury, Sidney D’Mello, Angela Duckworth, James Pawelski, Lyle Ungar, and Sang Woo.
Background
- Areas of expertise include measurement, data science, well-being, and organizational psychology. Aims to pursue cross-disciplinary lines of inquiry in methodology (e.g., measurement, continuum specification, latent class modeling, Big Data/data science) and well-being (e.g., societal well-being, wellness programs, work-leisure interface).
