  • Published over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers
  • Co-inventor of three national patents (one with substantive examination)
  • Principal Investigator of one regional project (funded by Diputación de Albacete), and two national projects (one by Spanish Ministry of Science, another by BBVA Foundation Leonardo Grants, 6.8% success rate in IT panel)
  • Participated in more than 20 research projects funded at regional, national, and international levels, plus multiple industry R&D agreements
  • Supervised three Ph.D. graduates (now at leading companies), currently supervising five Ph.D. students, plus 10 MSc theses and 15 undergraduate final projects
  • Contributed to IEEE 802.1Qcz standardization (Congestion Isolation for Lossless Ethernet), which was adopted into the IEEE 802.1Q standard

Research Experience
  • Joined the RAAP research group at UCLM in November 2006
  • Worked as a Senior Ph.D. Engineer at Oracle Corporation (Oslo, Norway) from January 2014 to 2015, developing the Linux host stack for InfiniBand EDR (100 Gb/s) technology
  • Postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2015 under Prof. Jose Duato, funded by the competitive Juan de la Cierva fellowship (7.5% acceptance rate)
  • Returned to UCLM’s RAAP group in December 2015 as a tenure-track research associate, co-funded by UCLM and European FSE Funds (22% acceptance rate)
  • Maintains active collaborations with UPV, Simula Labs (Norway), Heidelberg University (Germany), ETH Zürich, CERN’s ATLAS experiment, and industry partners including Huawei, Atos-BULL, Mellanox, and Intel
