Involved in multiple research projects such as 'Innovations in the Lab: Leveraging Transformations in Science' (2023-2026), etc.; member of the ESRC peer review college; scientific committee member and chair of the annual conference 'Workshop on the Organisation, economics and policy of scientific research' (WOEPS) since 2011; guest editor with others of a Special Issue in Research Policy on STEM Migration, Research, and Innovation (2020).
Research Experience
Currently a Professor at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research. Previously headed the Innovation, Strategy and Sustainability group at AMBS (2022-2025); was Program Director for the MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (2020-2022). Prior to joining AMBS, she was a Prize Fellow at the University of Bath School of Management and a JSPS post-doctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo.

Researches science policy/science of science. Particularly interested in how AI is changing the organization of science. Main research areas include the performance and career paths of researchers and inventors, inter-organizational and inter-sectoral research collaboration, and knowledge transfer.
