Aims to understand how technology can support meaning-making in everyday life
Employs theory-guided, ethnographically inspired methods (e.g., interviews, diaries, observation) and design research approaches (e.g., user-centered design, research-through-design, co-design)
Current projects include studying energy-conserving negotiations in parent-child households and co-designing with Southeast Asian immigrant mothers through storytelling workshops
