Currently a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven Kulak in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence lab of Dr. Celine Vens, part of the Data Driven Healthcare research group.
Also a senior researcher at itec, the interdisciplinary research group of KU Leuven and imec.
Her current research focuses on using explainable machine learning methods to identify early warning signs of patient decline in acute and chronic healthcare contexts.
She is particularly interested in collaborative interdisciplinary projects and applying novel methods from machine learning and network science to extract insights from biological and biomedical data, with an emphasis on model interpretability.
Has previously conducted research in human-computer interaction.
