  • Recent publication: Enantiodivergent synthesis of isoindolones catalysed by a Rh(III)-based artificial metalloenzyme, published in Nat. Synth., 2024 (ASAP).
Research Experience
  • Started his independent career in 2011 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
Education
  • Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 2008; later pursued post-doctoral studies in Prof. Steve Buchwald’s group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Background
  • Research interests include: remote C-H functionalization, bioinspired catalysis, heterocyclic chemistry, photocatalysis, and electrochemistry. Currently, he is a Professor of Chemistry at IIT Bombay.
