From 2015-2020, he was a senior lecturer and then (from 2018), a professor of statistics at the University of Sheffield. Since September 2020, he has been a Professor of Statistics at the University of Nottingham.
Education
  • Studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 1999 to 2008. His PhD was supervised by Professor Simon Tavaré and focused on Bayesian inference of primate divergence times.
Background
  • Professor of Statistics, focusing on developing statistical methodology for the analysis of complex scientific problems, particularly those involving computer simulators. Aims to work closely with scientists to help them build tools and methodologies to extract as much information as possible from their data and simulator.
