Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIITDM Kancheepuram, Chennai, India.
Research interests include the mathematical theory of homogenization for heterogeneous PDE models with applications in composite materials, porous media flows, and geophysical problems;
Focuses on numerical solutions of multiscale models when microstructure geometry is complex;
Works on efficient numerical linear algebra techniques—especially Krylov subspace methods and fast direct solvers—for large matrices arising from discretization via Fourier-Galerkin and Boundary Element Methods (BEM);
Also interested in nonnegative matrix theory and spectral graph theory, particularly convergence and comparison theorems for stationary iterative methods for singular linear systems and graph bisection algorithms;
Research includes higher-order methods for incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and linear/nonlinear convection-diffusion equations under non-trivial boundary conditions.
