Submitted several successful proposals in 2021 alone as a co-PI (National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Energy, C2M2) and as a collaborator (U.S. Department of Education). Has 48 refereed publications, including 21 journal publications in leading peer-reviewed journals in transportation engineering and 23 peer-reviewed conference papers. Four journal papers are currently under peer review. Also published book chapters.
Research Experience
Since May 2021, working as a Research Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering Department at Clemson University and also appointed as the Assistant Director of C2M2 (a United States Department of Transportation Tier 1 University Transportation Center). Key roles at C2M2 include conducting foundational research projects, coordinating C2M2 Quantum Lab, mentoring both graduate and undergraduate students, coordinating and leading grant proposal writing activities, leading activities related to knowledge and technology transfer, industry collaboration, and diversity and inclusion, and overseeing the center's budget. Before joining C2M2, worked as a post-doctoral research scholar at PATH (California Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology) at the University of California, Berkeley from October 2019, on two projects: Hybrid Data and Connected Corridors.
