Research Experience
Involved in several interdisciplinary projects, including modeling H5N1 influenza infection in humans, studying the voltage statistics and upcrossing rate of a minimal dendritic neuron model, and examining the maintenance and evolution of phenotypic variance in a prey defense trait within clonal populations through a dynamic predator–prey model.
Background
Research interests include using mathematical and statistical methods to address problems in biology, ecology, and epidemiology.
Miscellany
The SBIDER team also provided considerable model-based evidence to assist policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
