Background
The Harry Weinrebe Professorial Chair of Computer Science and currently also the Department Head at the Weizmann Institute of Science. His primary research interests include Analysis of Algorithms, Data Analysis and Massive Data Sets, Combinatorial Optimization, Approximation Algorithms and Hardness of Approximation, Average-case Analysis and Heuristics, Embeddings of Finite Metrics, Routing and Peer to Peer networks. He also has a broad general interest in Discrete Mathematics and High-Dimensional Geometry.
