Has a long-term developed cognitive architecture project named Clarion; published research works can be found on platforms such as Google Scholar, PhilPapers, ResearchGate, etc.
Research Experience
Over the past three decades, a hybrid cognitive architecture called Clarion has been continuously developed, which combines both implicit and explicit processes as well as procedural and declarative processes in one unified framework. Clarion particularly addresses the interaction of motivation, cognition, and environment, not just focusing on cognition narrowly defined. It also takes into account the interaction between implicit and explicit cognition in learning, reasoning, and other activities.
Background
Research interests include Cognitive Science and Computational Intelligence in general, Cognitive Architectures, Learning and Skill Acquisition, Cognitive Social Simulation and Multi-Agent Systems, Everyday Commonsense Reasoning, Computational Studies of Consciousness, Connectionist Models and Hybrid (Neural-Symbolic) Systems.
