Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • He has published several papers, including one that demonstrated the use of deep reinforcement learning to achieve state-of-the-art controllers for reducing fluid movement in chaotic thermally driven convective flow, which was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Turbulence. He has also contributed to various conference articles and abstracts.
Research Experience
  • Currently, he is a post-doc researcher at the Control Systems (CS) Group within the Department of Electrical Engineering. He has been a teaching assistant for the course 'Machine Learning for Systems and Control'.
Education
  • He obtained his PhD in 2024 at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) under the supervision of Prof. Roland Tóth and Maarten Schoukens. He also earned a master's degree in Applied Physics (Flow profile) from TU/e, cum laude, in 2019, supervised by Full Professor Federico Toschi.
Background
  • His main research interest is in data-driven learning of dynamical systems with AI and deep learning, particularly focusing on improving and understanding deep nonlinear state-space identification to obtain accurate, robust, and generally applicable methods.
