- Published work on SCAN (Spatial Context Attentive Network), which can predict socially acceptable future trajectories for all agents in a scene.

- Prior to joining Iowa State, held joint appointments in Systems Engineering and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia.
- Was a founding member of the interdisciplinary Link Lab for Cyber-physical Systems at UVA.

Research interests include safety-critical systems, autonomous decision-making and control, and machine learning. Affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, VRAC Research Center, and Translational AI Center at Iowa State University.
