Has published 17 conference papers and 22 journal papers, and has one patent with Nokia Finland. Won the Nokia foundation award consecutively in 2018 and 2019.
Research Experience
Currently a postdoctoral researcher at KAUST's CEMSE Division, working under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Slim-Alouini. Worked as a TA at Alexandria University and assistant lecturer at the Arab Academy in Egypt between 2012 and 2015. Visiting researcher to Technical University of Dresden, Aalborg University, and the American University in Cairo during 2018, 2019, and 2022, respectively.
Education
Received B.Sc. from Alexandria University in 2011; M.Sc. degrees from Arab Academy and the University of Oulu in 2014 and 2017, respectively; Ph.D. from the University of Oulu in 2022.
Background
Research interests include machine learning for wireless communications, non-terrestrial networks, semantic communication, and communication in extreme environments.
