Academic Achievements
- Published over 50 research papers in international scientific journals, conferences, and book chapters, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics. Included in Stanford University's list of Top 2% Scientists in the World for 2021, 2022, and 2023. Awarded five Best Paper Awards. Received the Outstanding Service Award from IEEE SMC TC on Homeland Security in 2024.
Research Experience
- Has worked as Technical Manager or Researcher on multiple EU-funded projects such as H2020 SPIDER, H2020 SANCUS, H2020 5G-INDUCE, etc. Currently coordinates the technical activities and strategy of K3Y Ltd in various R&D projects. Also participates in several national and European-funded research projects, including H2020 SPEAR, H2020 SDN-microSENSE, etc.
Education
- Received his Diploma (MEng, 5 years) from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering (now Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering), Faculty of Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece, in 2016, and his PhD in 2023.
Background
- Main research interests lie in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber-AI, intrusion detection, and security games. Currently serves as R&D Director and Partner at K3Y Ltd, Co-Founder and Board Member at MetaMind Innovations P.C., and Postdoc Researcher at ITHACA Lab, University of Western Macedonia.
