Research Experience
  • Currently a Research Scientist at IBM Research - Israel, AI Security group, developing the IBM HElayers SDK. Previously worked 3.5 years as a Senior Applied Scientist in AWS, Cryptographic Algorithms Team. Worked eight years at Intel in two teams: one that developed low-level security features (e.g., SGX) in FW/SW; another that developed a CAD VLSI timing verification simulator in C/C++.

  • Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (Cryptography) from the University of Haifa; M.Sc. degree in Operations Research from the faculty of Industrial Engineering & Management of the Technion I.I.T.
Background
  • Research interests: Applied cryptography and applied security, particularly combining these domains with the latest developments in the machine-learning field. For example, researching Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning solutions that involve Homomorphic Encryption or MPC. Other topics of interest include Public Key Encryption schemes and network security protocols.
