Participated in a number of scientific and developmental projects; was the national scientific coordinator for Horizon2020 projects NEGOTIATE and DigiGen; also the national scientific coordinator for European programs Erasmus plus - EUROGRADUATE, 'HARMONIA', and 'COVID-19 and reconciliation of working and family life'.

Studied Mathematics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece; completed her postgraduate studies leading to a Doctorate’s Degree in the field of Statistics and Operations Research in 1998.
