Academic Achievements
- Published 118 papers, with 72 indexed by SCI/EI, in prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and top conferences like ICDE, COMPSAC, MMM, VCIP. Filed 52 patents (26 granted). Authored 10 Chinese undergraduate/college textbooks and one English book. Received several awards including the Third Prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award, Third Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award, and more.
Research Experience
- Worked as a research intern at Neusoft Inc. from 2004 to 2008. Joined the School of Information and Software Engineering at UESTC in May 2012, currently serving as an associate professor. Became a doctoral supervisor in December 2017.
Education
- Received B.S. from Sichuan Normal University in 2003, M.E. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2006, and Ph.D. from UESTC in 2012, with Prof. LeiTing Chen as his advisor. Visiting scholar at the University of Washington's Electrical Engineering department from Oct 2009 to Oct 2011, under the supervision of Prof. Mingting Sun.
Background
- Research interests include video enhancement, computer vision, three-dimensional reconstruction, virtual reality, augmented reality, and crowd animation. Also an expert in artificial intelligence, image/video processing, virtual reality (3D point cloud), and medical image processing.
