Research Experience
  • Served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computing (FACOM) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) from 2008 to 2023 and as coordinator of the graduate program in computer science at UFU from 2018 to 2021. Supervised and co-orientated twenty (20) master's and seven (7) PhDs. Member of the Technical Program Committee (TPC) for several IEEE conferences, including ICC, SOCA, and NETSOFT. Individual member of the FIWARE Foundation's Mission Support Committees, FIWARE Mundus, and FIWARE iHub (MSC). Coordinated several national and international projects involving collaborations funded by various sources, including CAPES, CNPq, FAPEMIG, FAPESP, BNDES, ABDI, Petrobras, SEBRAE/RJ, and Nokia.

  • Thirty-three years of experience in the software industry and academia, especially in highly available and distributed web-based systems, software development using object-oriented technology, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Web Services, utilization of system integration, project management using the PMI method, team building, and professional training. Experience in team building, leadership, and motivation. Responsible for developing the first Brazilian software for designing CAD/CAE-based electrical installations using Autodesk's AUTOCAD platform and technologies such as AutoLISP and ObjectARX.
