Academic Achievements
- Published numerous papers, such as 'Photonic Neural Networks with Spatiotemporal Dynamics' (published by Springer), 'Low-rank combinatorial optimization and statistical learning by spatial photonic Ising machine' (Physical Review Letters). Received the 2022 Osaka University Prize and the 2018 Paper Award from the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JSIAM).
Research Experience
- Worked in multiple departments at the University of Tokyo, including the Department of Mathematical Informatics, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, and the Institute of Industrial Science. Moved to Osaka University in April 2016.
