Received a B.S. in Statistics from Peking University and an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago. Currently a third-year Ph.D. student at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago, advised by Professor Zhiyuan Li. Conducted research in natural language processing with Hongyuan Mei and Hao Tan during his master's degree.

Current interests include optimization, LLMs, and learning theory.
Miscellany
Outside of research, enjoys cooking, learning Japanese on Duolingo, playing squash, and bouldering. During undergraduate time, was a member of the Peking University Softball Team and the captain of the Softball Team of School of Mathematical Sciences.
