Published several papers on topics such as the impact of code clones on deep learning software, fine-grained analysis of dependency cycles among classes, just-in-time defect severity prediction, etc. Led multiple research projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Research Experience
Taught 'Software Project Management' and 'Research Methodology of Engineering' in Fall 2020; 'Software Engineering' in Spring 2019 & 2020; 'Software Testing' in Spring 2019.
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Science from Drexel University in 2018, advised by Dr. Yuanfang Cai; B.S. degree from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in 2011.
Background
Research interests: Software Engineering, focusing on analyzing the quality of software based on software architecture. Specifically, how to measure software architecture in terms of maintainability, which architectural problems incur high maintenance costs, and when and how to fix these issues to reduce maintenance effort.
