Received the NSF CAREER Award (2024), IEEE-CS Early Career Researchers Award (2023), and other honors. Published multiple papers in important conferences and journals such as SIGMOD, SC, ICPP, etc.
Research Experience
Currently an Assistant Professor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences, Northeastern University, and co-director of the Data Lab. Also an Affiliate Faculty in the Performance and Algorithms Research Group at Berkeley Lab. Previously, a Research Scientist at VMware Research for a year, and postdocs at UC Berkeley/LBL and Carnegie Mellon University.
Education
PhD in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in 2018.
Background
Research interests include large-scale data systems, graph processing, and computational biology. The goal is to build scalable data systems with strong theoretical guarantees and apply them to high-performance computing, computational biology, stream processing, and storage.
