Academic Achievements
- Volunteered at DSSG Solve, where he was part of a team of 4 data scientists that used Twitter discourse to identify unmet needs following Cyclone Amphan, which affected 18 million people around the Bay of Bengal in May 2020; Developed pipelines for systematizing the preprocessing of Sentinel-2 satellite imagery for any given period, to automatically update LULC maps of the Portuguese mainland.

- 2023-2024, Invited Assistant Professor at NOVA Information Management School, Lisbon, Portugal; Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at New York University, working with Professor Julia Stoyanovich, Director of the Center for Responsible AI at Tandon School of Engineering (NYU); During his Ph.D., he also worked as a Research Intern at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Center for Responsible AI, focusing on multi-agent algorithmic recourse over time.
