Volunteered at DSSG Solve, where he was part of a team of 4 data scientists that used Twitter discourse to identify unmet needs following Cyclone Amphan, which affected 18 million people around the Bay of Bengal in May 2020; Developed pipelines for systematizing the preprocessing of Sentinel-2 satellite imagery for any given period, to automatically update LULC maps of the Portuguese mainland.
