- PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the University of York, UK (completed in 2010), joined Hacettepe University as a lecturer afterwards.
Background
- Currently a faculty member at the Department of Computer Engineering, Hacettepe University and the head of the WISE Lab. Research interests are centered around the development of intelligent secure systems, particularly in intrusion detection, trust management, and malware analysis. Also interested in wireless networks and IoT, focusing on enhancing routing protocols and strengthening the security of these networks. Additionally, interested in nature-inspired algorithms and evolutionary computation, and their application to solve hard problems in networking and security.
