Academic Achievements
  • In 2023, co-founded Polaron, serving as Chief Scientist. Developed several open-source packages such as TauFactor, SliceGAN, etc., widely used in material microstructure analysis. His team also developed a method using Generative AI to optimize the microstructure of advanced materials like battery electrodes.
Research Experience
  • After completing his PhD, he became a postgraduate research associate in the Electrochemical Science and Engineering group led by Professor Nigel Brandon, involved with the Energy Storage for Low Carbon Grids project. Since May 2017, he has held a permanent position at the Dyson School of Design Engineering where he founded the TLDR group.

  • Obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London between October 5, 2008, and July 7, 2012; followed by a PhD in the Department of Materials under the supervision of Professor John Kilner.
