Awarded the Hachemeister Prize twice by the Casualty Actuarial Society (2017 and 2023), Taylor Fry General Insurance Seminar Silver Prize (2018), Highly Commended Paper Prize from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (2022), and both Melville and Carol Dolan All Actuaries Prizes (2025). Editor of the ASTIN Bulletin: The Journal of the International Actuarial Association and Associate Editor of Insurance: Mathematics and Economics.

Worked as an actuarial consultant in Switzerland and Canada, served as the Executive Chairman of the Board for a Swiss pension fund, and currently holds a full-time academic position at the University of Melbourne.
