Background
German astrophysicist who started her career in laser-plasma physics. Nowadays, she mainly investigates how stars and planets form, especially interested in the role of environment in these processes. Currently, the solar system and interstellar objects are the focus of her research. Other interests include how the shift towards simulations and machine learning impacts the epistemological value of research results.
