Academic Achievements
Multiple papers accepted by ACM CCS, USENIX Security, IEEE Blockchain, etc.; NSF CRII proposal funded; received multiple grants from the Ethereum Foundation including “ETH Rangers” and “Run A Node”; invited to serve on the TPC of several top conferences.
Research Experience
The current research group focuses on understanding and hardening the security of widely deployed blockchains such as Ethereum and Bitcoin at different system layers, detecting and flagging emerging cryptocurrency scams and phishing attacks, and optimizing the performance of blockchain’s P2P network.
Education
Received Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 2022, under the guidance of Dr. Yuzhe (Richard) Tang.
Background
Research interests include distributed system security, cybercrime detection and prevention, performance analysis and optimization. Currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology, previously at San Diego State University.
