Academic Achievements
- Authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications in prestigious journals and conferences. As a Principal Investigator on more than 10 provincial and national grants, leveraged expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, data mining, natural language processing, databases, information extraction, electronic health records, biomedical text mining, knowledge graphs, spatial and temporal data mining, and fuzzy logic.
Research Experience
- Currently working at Ingham Institute Liverpool Hospital, focusing on applying innovative AI methods in healthcare. Previously, worked as a Research Fellow at Western Sydney University. Also held the position of Associate Professor at the Isfahan University of Technology's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he led the Data and Knowledge Research Lab (DKR). Mentored over 4 PhD and 20 MSc students, as well as more than 40 undergraduate students.
