Research Experience
  • Currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; involved in the Penglai Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) project, one of the three officially recommended TEEs for RISC-V; lead developer collaborating with Intel to establish secure boot specifications under the RISC-V UEFI standard; introduced the LeftOverLocals vulnerability targeting Scratchpad in AI accelerators; developed HeteroInfer, the first mobile inference engine architecture supporting GPU and NPU; designed NPUSIM, an agile simulation platform for data-stream and many-core architecture AI accelerators; built AgentRR, an intelligent agent system enhancing performance, accuracy, and robustness using record-and-replay capabilities.
Education
  • During his doctoral studies, he was awarded the first batch of the PhD’s National Natural Science Foundation and was selected for the inaugural Young Talent Support Program for doctoral students. He was also honored with the title of “Academic Star” at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Background
  • Research areas include operating systems, AI accelerators, and optimization for large model training and inference. Representative work includes Penglai Enclave and related technologies, which have been utilized in over a hundred million RISC-V chips and integrated into openEuler, the largest cloud operating system in China.
