  • Soon to join the UK AI Security Institute as a research scientist, previously a research associate at the University of Edinburgh's Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation. Before starting her PhD, worked with several ML & NLP research teams across the UK, Denmark, and Germany.

Background
  • Interests include speech processing, information theory, psycholinguistics, machine learning, computational linguistics, and natural language processing. During her PhD, she focused on how information encoded in the lexical and non-lexical channels of spoken communication affects perception, applying these insights to better model human language comprehension and guide the development of efficient, perceptually-motivated representations of multi-channel communicative signals.
