Academic Achievements
  • Published over 50 top-tier IEEE journal and conference papers (including 20 as the first author), covering prestigious journals such as IEEE JSAC, IEEE WCM, IEEE TWC, IEEE TCOM, IEEE IoT, IEEE TVT, IEEE WCL, and IEEE CL, as well as renowned conferences like IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICC, IEEE ICASSP, and IEEE WNCN. Secured over 30 national patents and co-authored 1 book. Recognized with 3 ESI highly cited papers, 1 IEEE featured journal article, and 10 IEEE popular papers. In 2022, received funding from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) for a visiting PhD at the National University of Singapore, and was awarded the National Scholarship for Ph.D. (the highest academic honor for Ph.D. students in China). Won the election for UESTC Top 10 Outstanding Students (the highest comprehensive honor for students in UESTC).
Research Experience
  • Currently working as a Principal Engineer in the RAN Research Department II at Huawei, focusing on the standardization of 3GPP Release 20/21 physical layer MIMO air interface technologies, including Sounding Reference Signals (SRS), Channel State Information Reference Signals (CSI-RS), Codebook Framework Design, and PMI Feedback Mechanisms. Also serves as the Technical Leader for exploratory projects in areas such as AI-assisted integration for uplink and downlink channels, movable-antenna architecture technologies, and ultra-massive MIMO full-connected hybrid beamforming technologies.
Education
  • Graduated from Yingcai Honors College, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) with a Bachelor's degree in 2018 and obtained a Ph.D. from the National Key Laboratory of Wireless Communications, UESTC in 2023, supervised by Zhi Chen. Visited Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford as an exchange student in 2018, working on the Heavy Goods Vehicles Project. Served as a visiting scholar at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore from 2022 to 2023, supervised by Rui Zhang.
Background
  • Research interests include wireless communications, such as 5G/6G protocols, MIMO, OFDM, terahertz communications, wireless sensing/localization, resource scheduling, channel estimation, beam management, codebook design, and digital pre-distortion. Skilled in signal processing, matrix theory, deep learning, Bayesian estimation, compressed sensing, and tensor analysis.
