Research Experience
Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vector Institute in Toronto, working with Colin Raffel. Previously an ELLIS Postdoctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Torino and University College London (UCL). During his Ph.D., he was also a research intern at NVIDIA and NNAISENSE. Contributed to the development of Horus.
Education
Received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano, advised by Prof. Matteo Matteucci and Jonathan Masci. Worked on iterative and conditional computation for visual models.
Background
Research Interests: Decentralized Learning, Continual Learning, Modular Learning. Overview: Focused on developing machine learning systems that can collaborate, continuously integrate knowledge, and be efficient and maintainable.
Miscellany
In his spare time, he practices yoga, reads novels, and plays guitar. When he needs to relax, he cooks. When not lazy, he goes hiking and trekking. Whether sad or happy, he sings. Whenever possible, he travels the world to learn about new cultures.
