- Published multiple papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Artificial Intelligence; had papers accepted by Design Automation and Test in Europe (DATE) 2026 Conference; gave invited talks at several international conferences and served as a technical program committee member for major design conferences (including DAC, DATE, ICCAD).
Research Experience
- From August 2019 to September 2022, he was a Research Group Leader at the Chair for Embedded Systems (CES), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany; from December 2015 to August 2019, he worked as a research associate at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), Athens, Greece, participating in many EU-funded research projects; as a member of KIT, he worked on a German Research Foundation (DFG) project.
Education
- Received his Diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2012, and his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2018.
Background
- Research interests include digital design, low-power, accelerator microarchitectures, approximate computing, design automation, circuit synthesis and optimization, emerging technologies, printed electronics, and machine learning. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics, University of Patras.
