Research Experience
  • Currently a research scientist at Huawei Cloud.
Education
  • Received a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong, supervised by Dr. Heming Cui; Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Hong Kong with first-class honor, and enjoyed an exchange program at UCSD during undergraduate study.
Background
  • Research interests include distributed consensus protocols, fault tolerance systems, distributed transaction processing systems, and blockchain systems. Also interested in building highly-efficient distributed systems leveraging datacenter networking hardware (e.g., RDMA) and secure distributed systems leveraging hardware trusted execution environments (e.g., Intel SGX).
Miscellany
  • From Shenyang, a beautiful city in northeast China.
