Academic Achievements
Academic achievements include Bingtian's presentation at the Deborah Jin Doctoral Thesis Award Session and Tommy's presentation at the DQI Thesis Award session at the APS Global Summit.
Research Experience
Research projects involve using a variety of theoretical, numerical, and experimental tools to address questions in quantum many-body systems.
Background
Research Interests: The intersection of atomic, molecular and optical physics, condensed matter, and quantum information science. Overview: The research team focuses on exploring complex, strongly interacting quantum many-body systems composed of individual atoms, ions, molecules, and photons, with a focus on realizing non-equilibrium phases of matter, understanding the dynamics of quantum thermalization, and measuring the intrinsic properties of topological phases.
