Leads a research group focusing on self-configuring in-memory databases for different workloads and modern hardware, as part of the Hyrise database, and the Skyrise Data-Processing-as-a-Service system that allows studying scalable and robust query processing on serverless cloud infrastructure.

Postdoctoral research fellow leading the autonomous database group at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, also a database architect for SAP HANA Cloud and OrientDB at SAP SE, and a postdoctoral researcher at the SAP HANA Research Campus.
