Academic Achievements
Published over 70 papers in international conferences and high-impact journals, including Scientific Reports, Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, IEEE Access, PLoS ONE, and Array. He is a founding member of the Machine Intelligence lab (MILAB) at NSU. Acquired and involved in several funded research projects such as UK QR-GCRF, CTRG, and ICT Division, Ministry of ICT.
Research Experience
Joined North South University (NSU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in September 2017, currently employed as a full Professor in the same department. Prior to NSU, he worked as an Assistant Professor for nearly six years at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), where he also served as the acting Head of the Department for some time.

PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, UK; MSc in Electronics and Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.

Research Interests: Complex systems, machine learning, information systems. Biography: Dr. Sifat Momen's research work is at the intersection of biology and engineering, particularly influenced by the self-organizing abilities of eusocial insects.
