Research Experience
  • Involved in several research projects including ROMANCE, GLADIS, BI4People, CyberSecGraph, and DATACAP. These projects cover modeling vulnerabilities in organizational information systems, graph-based learning and analysis for intrusion detection, data privacy, and attack detection in IoT applications.
Education
  • Earned a Ph.D. in computer science in 2016 through a joint program between the University of Bejaia in Algeria and the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France; obtained a Magister degree from the University of Bejaia in 2009; and an engineering degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Sétif in 2006.
Background
  • Currently an associate professor at the University of Lumière Lyon 2 and a member of the SID research team within the ERIC laboratory. His research spans several key areas in cybersecurity and data management, focusing on secure data collection methods in resource-constrained environments like the Internet of Things (IoT), key management strategies, and graph database analytics for identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats.
