Published a paper at IJCNN 2025 titled 'Fashion-RAG: Multimodal Fashion Image Editing via Retrieval-Augmented Generation' (oral). Won 2nd best presentation for the project 'Explainability of Negative Posts in Social Media' at the National PhD in AI Summer School in June 2024.
Research Experience
Previously worked as a visiting student at the European Space Agency's Φ-Lab, supervised by Irene Amerini (Sapienza University of Rome) and co-supervised by Bertrand Le Saux (Φ-Lab). Developed one of the first diffusion-based methods for image inpainting in remote sensing.
Education
PhD student at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, supervised by Marcella Cornia and Rita Cucchiara.
Background
Italian National PhD student, with a research focus on Multimodal Generative AI. Works on text to image generation, semantic editing, and personalization techniques. His PhD is centered on applying diffusion/flow-matching models to fashion design data, including applications like Virtual Try-On and Virtual Try-Off. Also broadly interested in video and 3D applications involving human movement and garment physics simulation.
Miscellany
Passionate about sports and is an athlete. Involved in Lead The Future Mentorship, a non-profit organization that helps Italian STEM students to develop their full potential and get/create exciting job opportunities.
