Research Experience
Served as an assistant professor, lecturer, and associate professor at the Department of Graphics and Computer Science, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo from 1995 until 2013. Dean of the School of Computing, Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Institute of Science Tokyo) from 2022 until 2024.
Education
Received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Information Science, University of Tokyo in 1992, 1994, and 1999, respectively.
Background
Research interests: Programming languages, especially aspect- and context-oriented programming, partial evaluation, computational reflection, meta-level architectures, parallel/concurrent computing, and programming environments.
