Published multiple papers such as 'Securing AI with AI: Novel Framework for Drone Communication Security' (GENZERO 2024), 'Predictable Memory Bandwidth Regulation for DynamIQ Arm Systems' (RTCSA 2025, Best Paper Award), and more.
Research Experience
CTO and Co-Founder of Minerva Systems and Sqrrl; Research Fellow at TUM; Former PikeOS Software Architect at SYSGO GmbH; Software Engineer at MBDA Italy; Visiting Researcher at UNC Real-Time Systems Group.
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a thesis focusing on the integration of theory and practice in multiprocessor real-time scheduling (Advisors: Marco Cesati, James H. Anderson) from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, 2007-2011.
Background
Research interests include real-time operating system and cyber-physical system design, predictability, and co-design of complex hardware and software systems. Currently, he is working on improving the predictability of the memory hierarchy in complex heterogeneous SoCs and their industrial integration into OSs and hypervisors.
