- Teaching 'Machine Learning' at the MSc in 'Data Science' program at NCSR 'Demokritos' - University of Peloponnese since 2017; taught 'Natural Language Analytics' from 2017-2019. Involved in several projects including smartHEALTH (European Digital Innovation Hub on Precision Medicine and Innovative E-health Services), P4LUCAT (Personalized medicine for lung cancer treatment: using Big Data-driven approaches for decision support), and BioASQ (A challenge on large-scale biomedical semantic indexing and question answering).

- Research Interests: machine learning, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, information extraction, knowledge discovery, ontology learning, Web mining. Currently, she is a Researcher (Grade C) at the IIT of NCSR 'Demokritos' in Athens, Greece. She is also a member of the Software and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory (SKEL) and the head of Biomedical and Health Informatics (BioHIT).
